Mystery

I am in between, asleep and awake, ruined by time and its cycles. This piece is inspired by the metamorphosis we go through in our day to day lives. I believe we are all reaching, hopefully, for the butterfly stage, but we mostly end up living in, and feeling lost through, the times of the caterpillar and cocoon. In this painting, I wanted to highlight their value and importance. The whole process is always a mystery to us, and our search reflects our ache to understand this cycle.
