Description: A little girl isolated by herself during the pandemic.
Artist Statement: During this pandemic quarantine I participated in an online stress relief workshop. Over a period of several months, we were asked to identify things that frightened us (wildfires), to think about others and how they were coping (isolated children), and to visualize things that brought us peace (floating on peaceful water). Creating work on these subjects occupied my time and allowed me to do what I loved rather than stressing about the things that I could not change.
