Baduizm

Baduizm explores the initial healing process, which is often quite cathartic. One may find a figure which they identify with and begin to make connections and discovery within their own personal lives. I began this process by examining the symbolism of the pineapple as it related to the life of Erykah Badu. Some of the themes I focused on were time, forgiveness, love, and survival. I listened to several albums as I completed this image of her, while re-authoring aspects of my own life.
