Rainforest

Rainforest is a reinterpretation of Romare Bearden's Rainforest. I explored the idea that "a pineapple will grow up to 50 years in the wild, an environment where its needs can be met." I then compared this concept of growth to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, using the pineapple to symbolize what people need to remain resilient and sustain emotional and mental wellness.
