Duality

The creative process was alive in the creation of my sculptural piece I titled, Duality. As you look at this piece, my intention was to show the conflict we all face when we try to deal with the outer and inner self. Especially when one feels different than everyone else. When we feel that no one will ever understand me. This is especially true when we deal with elements of our life that we feel cannot reveal because they are just not socially acceptable. The images of the sculpture show how the burden of holding those things are so unmanageable to the self.
